Airy and overflowing with flowers and lush plants, Woo Cafe offers the perfect place to while away a morning in Wat Gate, with the Ping River just across the street. The cafe serves a varied menu of both Thai and Western dishes that use locally sourced organic ingredients. The classic khao soi and pesto grilled cheese sandwich are soul soothing, while the tower of watermelon with dried fish will change the way you want to eat the summer fruit. In between kaleidoscopic bouquets in eclectic vases, cake stands house too-pretty-to-eat pastries that are best paired with one of the cafe’s signature lattes. The upper floor of the space is dedicated to a gallery that hosts abstract Expressionist paintings and other purchasable art pieces. There’s also a home accessories store in the back of the cafe where you can find most of what is on display throughout the cafe, from candles to mugs to vases.
